The Core Module, including medication and waste management, plus Modules 1, 2A and 3 and the SDA Module, all assessed in a single certification audit.
Groups 0104, 0114, 0118, 0128, 0129 and 0131 each need evidence that the staff delivering them hold specific qualifications or experience.
ID, right to work, screening checks, mandatory NDIS training and signed employment documents for the whole team, ready for an auditor to sample.
Advice Care's planned services crossed the Core Module and four supplementary modules. The Certification Platinum Package covers the Core Module only, so Provider360 placed Advice Care on the NDIS Mega Platinum Package, which covers the Core Module and every supplementary module.
Scope eligibility checkProvider360 produced Advice Care's policies, procedures, forms and registers with its name and logo, mapped to each module in scope, including the Core Module sections on medication management (4.3) and waste management (4.5) that the scope of audit called out.
Documentation Fast-TrackThe team wrote Advice Care's self-assessment answers module by module, submitted the NDIS application on its behalf and completed a documentation editing pass on 30 October 2024. The NDIS Commission's Initial Scope of Audit, issued on 24 October 2024, confirmed a certification audit across 16 registration groups.
NDIS Application BundleProvider360 introduced Advice Care to 3+ Approved Quality Auditors so it could compare quotes against its scope of audit. Advice Care chose and contracted its auditor directly.
Auditor recommendationAll three certificates of currency (workers' compensation, public liability and professional indemnity) were in order. Of 16 HR requirements, 14 had gaps: missing ID and right-to-work evidence, police checks, the NDIS Worker Orientation Module, induction records, signed contracts and position descriptions, and vehicle insurance and registration for transport supports. The report set two corrective actions: complete every personnel file and track staff training in one place.
Pre-audit evidence reviewAdvice Care closed the gaps using the review's checklist and training tracker, then went through the two-stage certification audit: a document review followed by an on-site assessment. Provider360 supported both stages. The auditor raised zero non-conformities across all 16 registration groups.
Audit Success System| Metric | Before | After | When |
|---|---|---|---|
| Registration groups | 0 | 16 | At registration |
| Modules covered | None | Core Module, Modules 1, 2A, 3 and SDA | Scope of audit, 24 Oct 2024 |
| HR requirements with gaps | 14 of 16 | All addressed before the audit | 5 Dec 2024 to audit |
| Non-conformities at audit | Not yet audited | 0 across Stage 1 and Stage 2 | December 2024 |
How we measured this: pre-audit figures come from Provider360's Pre-Audit Review Report for Advice Care, signed off 5 December 2024. Module and group counts come from the NDIS Commission's Initial Scope of Audit dated 24 October 2024. The audit result is the auditor's finding at the end of Stage 2.
Qualification: Group needs evidence of specific staff qualifications or experience.
The NDIS Mega Platinum Package. It covers the Core Module plus every supplementary module (1, 2, 2A, 3, 4, 5 and 5A for SIL) with 320+ branded documents, across all 36 NDIS registration groups. Advice Care used it because its scope crossed four supplementary modules, which the Certification Platinum Package (Core Module) does not cover.
Certification typically takes 8 to 12 months from application to registration, because auditor availability and NDIS Commission processing sit outside anyone's control. For Advice Care, 42 days passed between its Initial Scope of Audit (24 October 2024) and its Pre-Audit Review sign-off (5 December 2024), and the two-stage audit followed.
Yes. Advice Care applied with seven staff and no participants, and its certification audit raised zero non-conformities. Without participant records, much of the evidence an auditor sees comes from the provider's documented systems and staff files, which is why a complete documentation set and a pre-audit check of HR records matter.
It reviews the evidence a provider has uploaded against the NDIS Practice Standards before the auditor sees it, and catches an average of 16 gaps. For Advice Care, the review covered HR and insurance records: all three insurance certificates were current, and 14 of 16 HR requirements needed work.
No. Auditors must stay independent, so Provider360 provides auditor recommendation: introductions to 3+ Approved Quality Auditors so the provider can compare quotes. Advice Care contracted its auditor directly, as every provider does.
